"I had a traumatic upbringing in a dysfunctional family. As a result, I never felt safe. I coped by keeping chronically busy. When you are constantly distracted, you don't have time to think.

That's when I knew something had to change. Once my kids had left the nest, I was determined to face my demons. I had to get my life back!
